What is the Triangle South Enterprise Center
Triangle South Enterprise Center is a small business incubator located at 600 South Magnolia Avenue in Dunn, North Carolina. The Center is administered by the Dunn Area Committee of 100, Inc. and is assisted by Central Carolina Community College and its Small Business Center.
The Small Business Center provides on-site counseling services, seminars, workshops, and other assistance to businesses located in the Triangle South Enterprise Center, Harnett County, and surrounding areas.
The Triangle South Enterprise Center is committed to the success of its tenant companies. It is also committed to the creation of business opportunities and jobs and improving the quality of life in the area.
Triangle South Enterprise Center has up to 18,500 square feet of office space available for lease to service, manufacturing, and research and development firms. Flexible lease terms and space arrangements are available to accommodate the needs of each tenant company. Shared support services are available on an optional basis. Tenant shared support services include: secretarial service, answering service, computer use, phone system hookup, and conference room use.
The Triangle South Enterprise Center offers the following: assistance in finding capital and compatible loan programs; below-market rental rates; free management and technical assistance; free business plan assistance; meeting facilities; flexible lease terms; space to suit tenant; and natural lighting.
Tenant shared support services include: Secretarial service, answering service, computer use, wired and wireless internet, phone system hookup and conference room use.
Intermediary Relending Program
Triangle South Enterprise Center, through the Dunn Area Committee of 100, Inc. provides USDA-Rural Development loans for businesses in Harnett, Lee, Cumberland, Sampson, Johnston, Hoke, Richmond, Anson, Columbus, Duplin, Robeson, Bladen, Brunswick, Montgomery, and Scotland counties.
The program lends funds to eligible recipients that meet the following criteria: are a community development project; establish a new business; create or save jobs; assist businesses that will employ farm families or displaced farm workers; have been turned down by two banks or lending institutions; and are located in the service area. The Service Area includes the following counties: Harnett, Sampson, Johnston, Hoke, Richmond, Anson, Columbus, Duplin, Lee, Robeson, Cumberland, Bladen, Brunswick, Montgomery, and Scotland.
According to the program guidelines, all money must be lent in rural areas where the population is less than 25,000. The maximum loan amount is $250,000.
A loan committee of three area bankers (with over 100 years of lending experience), the president of the Dunn Area Committee of 100, Inc., and the director of Triangle South Enterprise Center will determine if you qualify for the Intermediary Relending Program.
